What is the M.A.L.E. Banquet

Tyson's Storehouse Education Center is so excited to host our 4th Annual Men Acknowledged for Living Excellently Banquet on Sunday, November 14th, 2021 at the Windy Hill Community Center in Marietta, GA

This banquet is our opportunity to recognize African American men, between the ages of 18-24, who easily dispels the negative stereotypes about them, often seen in the news media outlets.

For the last three years, Tyson’s Storehouse Education Center (TSEC) has highlighted over 15 young brothers who are doing great work in their communities. These young men are high school and college graduates, entrepreneurs, and community activists.

When looking for nominees, we seek out young men who have had challenges, ups and downs, made poor decisions but learned and grew from them.

Or those quiet brothers who are often overlooked because they aren’t causing any trouble nor doing anything grandiose. They may attend a community college instead of a big university. Or work a solid 40 hours a week at Burger King instead of AFLAC.

The point being, to us and many others, these young men are doing great things! They are being true to themselves; they are breaking stereotypes, and they are impacting their communities.

We regret to inform you that our 4th Annual M.A.L.E. Ceremony has been cancelled due to the lack of sponsors and nomination submissions. We will aim to have the Ceremony/Banquet next year in 2022.
