The Julia Best Hub named after Natasha’s grandmother, believed in the value of education and its’ ability to change’s a person life. This was a catalyst for two of Tyson’s Storehouse‘s most popular programs: Refuel for School Supplies Drive and Men Acknowledged for Living Excellently Banquet (M.A.L.E)

Refuel for School Supplies Drive

Our Refuel for School Supplies Drive is an opportunity for Tyson’s Storehouse and the community to show love to our educators by providing them with much needed school supplies.

Our Refuel for School Drive is held every year from August to December during which time we collect supplies for Title I schools in Atlanta, Columbus, and Macon, GA. We then “refuel” these schools in January of the following year. This is just a small role we play in supporting teachers, administrators, and most importantly the children as they prepare for the future. The Men Acknowledged for Living Excellently banquet

The Men Acknowledged for Living Excellently banquet (M.A.L.E.)  a chance for family, friends, mentors, and coaches to highlight a young man whose doing positive things in the community. This banquet is all about encouraging, supporting, rallying around, and loving on our young black men.

The first Sunday of every November is our opportunity to highlight positivity and dispel negativity. It’s the community’s opportunity to take part in the memories these young men will have because someone thought highly enough of them to nominate them for M.A.L.E. of the Year.
